Returning from Paradise

Hello little munchkins :3

For the past few days, I was in Langebaan for a weekend away with the girls. What an amazing trip! :D 

We stayed in a small house right on the beach. Waking up everyday to the smell of the ocean, the three of us (Cass, Amy and myself) would literally be on the beach all day. 

What you see to your right is the view from the house. Amazing, isn't it?

We were in the water constantly ^^ swimming in the waves, Amy stepping on things that "have a tail and swim away fast", Cass stepping on hermit crabs. Me? The shells attacked my feet :|

Saturday morning, the three of us sat watching the ocean. Amy and I planned what we're going to do in the future. Really, it was a perfect morning. 

There was a shop that sold the most AMAZING pies EVER! :O 

That shop... That shop... <3

Hmm, I'm hungry now :/ hungry for that delicious spare rib pie...

Other than the sunburn and small kids crying while we were trying to sleep, this was a perfect holiday :)

We met this 22 year old surfer who thought I was greek :| It's the black curly hair XD

He hadn't been paying attention when buying sunscreen, so we ended up watching this dude put on sparkly pink sunscreen XD

Talk about Twilight vampire in real life :| Was pretty darn funny though. He sparkled for AGES xD

Cass gave us all names :D

Amy is Chibi (though I would've rather called her Mijikai x.x)

I am Sakura (which is Japanese for cherry blossom)

And Cass is Meisie Kind  XD

Our transport to and from Langebaan was being stuffed into the back of a bakkie. We ended up sleeping on the road home XD 

All in all, it was the best weekend I've ever experienced! A perfect way to get away from everything and everyone and just live my dream :)

Too bad I didn't have a surfboard to take with xD

Greetings friends and random blog-readers alike :)

Today is the day that everybody has been going on and on and on and on and on and on and on about. Yep, it's the 12th of december 2012! :O

Personally, I don't find this very exciting. What I find exciting is spending the day with Aaron tomorrow :D

So we all have about 9 days until the "world ends". I'm looking forward to that, so I can laugh on the 22nd of December :P

Oh yes, I should probably tell you the story about this mysterious Aaron character I mentioned :O

One day, millions of years ago, when the dinosaurs still walked the earth, there was two special species of reptilian awesomeness.

The Aaronosaurus and the Jessador! :D

These two species were rare, and they only ate salty crackers with cheese. Unfortunately, the other dinosaurs were very jealous of how amazing these two species were and started scheming against them.

Now, the Aaronosaurus is also known as the "hamster-dinosaur", whereas the Jessador is known as the "kitty-dinosaur".

Both were extremely cute and fluffy creatures who puked rainbows :)

As the other dinosaurs schemed their evil intentions, the Aaronosaurus and the Jessador went hunting for strawberry jammy jam. The jammy jam was very quick and got away quickly, but they didn't give up the hunt.

After running after the jammy jam for 2 hours, they discovered a poor MichieMouse stuck in a trap. The MichieMouse promised to help them catch the jammy jam if they freed her from her prison.

The Aaronosaurus and Jessador got the poor MichieMouse out of the trap and, as promised, the MichieMouse used her charm to lure the jammy jam closer so that Aaronosaurus and Jessador could catch it.

Meanwhile, the other dinosaurs had started working on their plan to destroy Aaronosaurus and Jessador. They decided to sacrifice the two to the magnificent volcano that cast a shadow over their homeland. 

The dinosaurs believed that sacrificing to the volcano would keep it from sending its lava-puke all over the land, so they saw this as a perfect opportunity to get rid of Aaronosaurus and Jessador.

Thankfully, the amazing AmyPixie had been at her crazy inventions again, and had perfected her time machine. When she heard of the horrid schemes against her friends Jessador and Aaronosaurus, she warned them and explained that she had a plan of her own.

  "The two of you need to use my time machine to go to the future. It's the only way you'll be safe from these evil doers!" She said quietly, afraid the other dinosaurs had spies watching the three of them hatching an escape plan.

  "But what about MichieMouse? And you, AmyPixie?" Asked Jessador, worried about her friends remaining at risk of being sacrificed too.

  "We'll come with! Just find MichieMouse and we can leave!" Said AmyPixie, her blue eyes brightening. 

Soon Aaronosaurus, Jessador, MichieMouse and AmyPixie were squished in the time machine. The time machine looked like a giant fishbowl, for reasons unknown.

There was a label that read:
"Insert grape juice to go to the past. Insert jammy jam to go to the future."

Aaronosaurus took the jammy jam and put it in what looked like a post box.

Suddenly, the whole world turned into a huge blur and the group all fell to the floor. Gravity pulled them down as the world span around and around.

Then, everything was still.

THEY HAD MADE IT TO THE FUTURE!!

And that's the story of how Aaronosaurus, Jessador, MichieMouse and AmyPixie escaped to the future.

It's also how the first aquarium was discovered...

Goodbye 8th grade :D

I know I don't post too often, and I'll be honest with you...
I'm just lazy :|
But, by the request of lovely Agent A, I have decided to post :D

The school year has ended and the holidays have arrived! WHOOP! :D
The last week of school was, to say the least, freaking epic!
There was the Amazing Race, where my team (Le Killjoys - yes, MCR lovers, you read correctly) came 9th :D
One thing...
There were only 10 teams xD
But considering we had nosebleeds, a member with heatstroke and other odd injuries here and there, we didn't do too badly :P

Then comes the Talent Show.
Although none of us in the Unicorn Patrol took part, it was most certainly an event to remember! 
Between some acts, we had the opportunity to go to the front of the hall and dance. What a freaking amazing club vibe that was :D

Soccer day was just plain horriful :|
I fell asleep on the field and lay there for 2 hours in the boiling heat of midday.
So, as a result, I had gotten a sunburn... On only the left side of my legs and face xD

I skipped the rest of the week, then went to fetch my report :D
Pool party? Bring own food? R10 entrance fee?
PLEASE, I can eat my food at my own pool :| 

I'm going on and on about random shizz coz I have NO idea what to post about :D

BUT...

After a short 2 months of single-ness, I have a special somebody  :3
I'm seeing my dear Aaronosaurus on Thursday!! :D Whoop!!
He's the cheese to my cracker :P

Hello posty... Long time no see

It's been WAY too long since I've posted -_-
Well right now I'm eating an apple. Yummy :3 Wrote my algebra exam today... Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Less than 3 weeks before the school year is over! Thank the stars :o 

I'm amping for the holidays! I'm going on a weekend away with my friendlings, Amy and Cassandra :D Langebaan better be ready for us!
Amy got a haircut, thanks to yours truly :P Was fun xD
I'm going to miss my matric friends :/ in fact, I miss some of them already! I really wish you guys the best for your future, don't make yourselves jailbait :P

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! As a teenager, I expect drama to arise sometimes, but there's been way too much lately -_- I find it amusing, but as soon as it involves me I'm like "To hell with this".
Though, I've been guitaring with my dad lately :3 been amazing fun! I've also recently discovered that I cannot, for the life of me, roll dough into anything near a circle shape for pizza -_- I'm pretty darn good at eating the pizza, though.
Metallica is coming to South Africa :D I SO wanna see them x_x grrr, darn it I'm broke xD

Also, as a downer to this post, I've just gone through a breakup about 6-7 weeks ago. Eh, shit happens.. Gotta make the best of it I suppose.
BUT this does give me the opportunity to focus on the other aspects of my life :) Like my art: I've really dived back into my art. My folder has never started filling up this much before :o
Plus, now I get digits xD

Love is Love! Support LGBT!

Something that has become a big issue in my eyes: the lack of support for LGBT around the world.   Now I know this post may not change the world, but to change at least one life for the better is my goal I hope to achieve. Also, I want to give insight into the life of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, along with their struggles. 


  There are many teens and young adults around the world who hide secrets of being gay, lesbian, bisexual or trans. It's the fear of acceptance, and the fear that they'll become the victims of bullying (which is another topic I'd like to post about).

  Life can become extremely difficult, and a secret can't be kept forever. At some point they'll have to admit to family or a close friend(s). And it's also not a fashion statement: "I'm gay/lesbian/bisexual/trans! Now I'm different and so cool! I'm going to just tell everybody about it!"  One word: No.  This is a serious issue. Yes, it's great if you can accept yourself and feel confident in letting friends and family know, but it most certainly ISN'T something to go around telling random people. There shouldn't be shame in who you are, but really... You don't see straight people running around bragging about how straight they are.

  I know that people can be very cruel and heartless, and you can end up being bullied about your personal choices. They bully because you are different from them, and they don't like that fact. But remember, NEVER become something you're not just because you want to fit in. There are people out there who will love you for exactly who and what you are, because you are special in EVERY single way.

  I've been a victim of bullying and it broke me down completely. I was often bullied about my weight, my hair (because it's extremely curly) and my appearance. As years progressed, it became less and less, but then it started up all over again recently. Now, however, it isn't all the same things I was bullied about before.  And I'll be completely honest: I am big on supporting LGBT because I am bisexual. I'm not ashamed of it, but there's more than that when it comes to my secrets. As a bisexual, I'm lucky enough not to have been bullied YET. But that's because not many people know, and I've hidden it quite well. The people who know are my close friends and my parents.

   As the title says: Love is love. My belief is that you fall in love with a person despite their gender. Love isn't skin deep. Love is when you and a person share a special emotional connection, and nothing can break that. No, love isn't all about sex, it's about feeling complete when you have that other person in your arms.  Have you ever seen a gay or lesbian couple holding hands in your school? It's a rare thing. You simply cannot be yourself these days, you always have to fit into someone else's vision of who you should be.    There are many stereotypes of LGBT, and sometimes they can hurt. A lot. But don't change, because you deserve to love and be loved for exactly who you are. If you have to change to be loved, then that love is as real as a barbie doll's hair.

  In my opinion, I think it's beautiful when I see two women or two men together, without any concern about what others think. Don't be afraid to embrace yourself, you are perfect just as you are. True love goes beyond the face and skin.

  As much as the bullying hurts, please remember that it doesn't matter what they think. Don't let them control you or your life. And NEVER let them bring you down so much that you want to end your life. You have so much to live for, why give that up because of some idiot?


  And to all you who are looking at this post thinking "What a stupid post. LGBT is soooo wrong" : Stop your homophobic behavior. You're ruining lives with your hurtful words and narrow-minded beliefs.  I know there are Christians who believe it's unclean or whatever... But seriously, God made us as we are. We're sinning because we're being what God made us to be?  I'm proudly agnostic, and don't believe that anyone should be told they're sinning because of orientation. We were born this way! And another thing I'd like to mention:  LGBT. The "T" isn't silent. Equal support for trans, because they're people just as much as anyone else.

I like peanut butter

At last, a post emerges! It feels like forever and a half has past since I posted D:

I have been imprisoned by the government of Karyllia, the land I am inhabiting, and was unable to escape my cold, dark cell. Until now.
Though I am not anywhere near free, I have been given some leash for being a good dog.

Why was this dog imprisoned, you may ask? Well... I attacked the postman.
All the mail was ruined, therefore I was punished.


Over the past month I've been kept prisoner, and finally I am adjusting to my new life :)
The warden has helped me a lot, yet I still need to prove myself.

I remember debating one Tuesday afternoon... :3
We sat there, and the teacher didn't show up
Sooooooooooooo..
We started being our usual stupidly crazy selves :D :D

Also, Amy and I found a missing mustache on the hockey field. If anyone has lost their mustache, TOO BAD! :D
We believe it belongs to a teacher. We were going to return it, but Amy's always wanted a mustache :3

So on Saturday, Aidan invited me to his place for a braai :D
I was so nervous coz I was gunna meet some of his friends >.< I was like "Oh shit, what if they don't like me?!"  xD
But they were all really chilled and pretty damn awesome :P

Band prac was an amazing experience :) they're really good at what they do :D
Lots of laughs and plenty food xP

I can't imagine my Saturday getting any better than it was :3

Sunday was quality time with daddy :D
Went driving up the side of a freaking mountain, ohyeah!! xD
We stopped at a shop somewhere along the way.. THe place was huge! :o  And they had freaking giant cookies, brownies and doughnuts! D:  I think I died and went to heaven xD

So Sunday was an amazing 4 hours of roadtrip and doughnuts! :D
I was reminded why I love m country, and specifically Cape Town :)
It's beautiful here :3

Pink sunshine on a grey day

The day started off on a low note, and even with hopes of my spirit lifting as the day went on, all seemed to go spiralling downwards with every second gone by.

Unfortunately I was left disappointed when my crazy retard best friend was missing from school :o
Hope she's okay; she's been ill for the past few weeks  v.v

Even the amazing sound of Aidan's voice couln't brighten my mood :/  Sure, it was great to hear his voice, but the dampening of my mood just didn't seem to lessen :/

Yet, through all the grey clouds, came a ray of sunshine... Pink sunshine ^^
Yes, my mommy dear is preggers and today we found out it's going to be a little female hatchling :3

The Beginning of the Beginning... Hi :3

So, like... Hiya :D
I am le CherryBlossom ^^ known to friends and foes alike as Jess!
Why the fooook do I declare my name CherryBlossom, then? O.o  Well, it all start a long, long time ago .. In a distant land that only a few know of. This place has no name, as it is mostly unknown ^^

So there I was just walking down Liquorice Lane when a GIANT PLANT-FIGHTING, FLESH-EATING COTTON CANDY MONSTER CAME CHARGING AT ME!!! D:
Luckily for me, he was extremely fat and couldn't run very fast, so escaping was a piece of cake :3
And then, out of the blue, some random weirdo in this leather jacket came skateboarding up to me with a guitar in hand ^^

"Do not fear, fair maiden!" He exclaimed, leaping towards the monster. He lay his guitar on the grass, grabbing a random branch lying in the middle of nowhere.
BAM!! That monster didn't know what hit him! :o
Okay, well he kinda did since it's hard to miss a huge thing flying towards your face :/

And so, with my life saved, this mysterious stranger came toward me, took my hand and together we flew away on his magical unicorn :D
He calls me CherryBlossom. Why? Because every single time he kissed me, my face turned into this ripe tomato >.<

And so, that is how I got my name :D
